  1. I like IE7Pro's User Script for saving videos I save them as flv files then use FLV Player to view them: http://applian.com/flvplayer <== remember to un-check the Yahoo search engine change if you don't want it. Its Accu Weather Plug in is handy as well.

    Hello all

I recommend and use an external hard drive as I find that it is easy to install and the power for the extra hard drive is provided by the external hard drive enclosure so that the extra power does not impact the host system power supply. It connects through a USB port and not very expensive: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/cat....asp?CatId=1204 I use Karen's Replicator to keep things in sync between the hard drives: http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptreplicator.asp

  15. It depends on your CPU speed, amount of RAM and hard drive speed. For example my XP Home system has 2.4GHZ P4 and 512MB RAM and my XP Pro system has 2.8GH P4 and 768MB RAM and is about twice as fast due to faster hard drive. 17. How about posting your system specifications? What is the operating system and Service Pack level? What is the CPU type and speed and how much RAM does the system have? A/V definitions are the anti virus definitions so what anti virus application are you running?
  18. Lavender reminds me of my dear old grandmother as she used it all the time plus it has a soothing effect if a few small drops of oil is placed in a warm bath. Lavender scented candles are also good.
  19. The thing I hate about changing weather and rain is that it wrecks havoc with my lower back and hips because I have Scatica due to a severe auto accident I had back in '98. Stretching and Tylenol helps and I have a small beanbag like pad called Magic Bag that I heat up in the microwave for 1 minute and lay on it for as long as it stays warm while watching the CBC news about the latest disasters befalling our beautiful Green planet. http://www.magicbag.com/products/magic-bag-pad.php
  20. I had my steak and it was good. Looks like we are in for a couple of days of rain.

  22. I think that hazelnut is on the right handing out presents. I received a nice surprise this morning as my friend invited me down for coffee and a muffin and she gave me a bright yellow coffee cup with a smiling happy face on it. I watched Forrest Gump on the weekend and I found out where the smiley face came from. I don't mind admitting my Birthday as I marvel at how long I have lived with all the mischief I have been up to.
  23. Welcome Suggs Having an up to date anti virus application is necessary being on today's infested Internet. Have you kept your Norton subscription up to date? A yearly payment is necessary to keep it up to date and usually it warns you if the subscription has run out. If you can not afford to pay for Norton then it must be completely un-installed with its own application: Download and run the Norton Removal Tool http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgen...005033108162039 The free anti virus applications that are recommended: avast free http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html Avira AntiVir http://www.free-av.com To see what other applications that need updating: Secunia Online Software Inspector http://secunia.com/vulnerability_scanning/online
  24. When I am reviewing CCleaner topics with IE8 RC1 and a topic is moved the icon for the category becomes highlighted as unread so I go to that unread topic to read it then I return to the base Piriform home page the topic is still read as unread and highlighted. I tried to go to Options to select that the topic is read but I can not select any item in there. It is a beautiful Full Moon outside descending into the western sky this morning but I do not think that has anything to do with it Added: I closed IE and re-tried it and it is working now
