  1. Just downloaded it and took it through a test run, and it seems pretty nice to me. It's pretty quick and easy to use. I do have one question though. When defragmenting a drive, does it do free space defragmentation as well? I see that there is an advance option to defrag the free space, but I was just wondering if I had to run them separate to achieve both. If I do have to run them separate to get both, could there possibly be an option implemented that allows defragmenting of the drive and free space at the same time?
  2. Seems to be working good here.
  3. Sounds like a good release as usual. I'm just glad that an update finally came around. I was getting a bit worried. Lol.
  4. Seems like we are still waiting for next week? Lol.
  5. This is definitely good news because I've been experiencing the slow cleaning times that users have been reporting as well.
  6. Seems to work pretty well. The only thing bothering me right now is the interface. I don't like the little window that pops up and tells you what it is doing. That could easily be displayed somewhere else in text, not another window. Lol. The other thing is that it doesn't look like the other Piriform applications. Which doesn't bother me to much, but it's something I noticed. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to new versions.
  7. Seems to be working good on my computer. Nice work and keep the updates coming.
  8. Excellent build. Seems to be working great for me. Just wondering, but why are the registry backups not saving as registry entries as of version 2? It just says file next to it now. I can't click it and load the backup. When I do click it, it wants me to specify a program to open it with.
  9. Pretty nice even though I'm still not big on the interface. I prefer the old interface at this point. Lol. Only problem have is that it takes a very long time for secure deletion to actually work. IT just takes to long. Used to be real quick in 1.41.
  10. Just tried it out on my computer and everything is working fine. Good stuff!
  11. The forums were down for me all day as well yesterday. The only bug I've found so far is sometimes when you try to clean; it takes over 30 and finds nothing. One example is I hit clean, waited about 15 second and hit stop. It didn't clean a thing. So the next time, I waited 30 seconds and clicked stop. Still didn't clean a thing. So the third time I hit clean and it takes 4 seconds and removed around 50MB. Odd bug. I haven?t been able to reproduce it yet. Look great Mr. G. I don't like the stripes at the top though I've got to say.
  12. Sounds great. Especially the new rewrite! Really looking forward to downloading it. Keep up the great work!
  13. I love the new look of the CCleaner website! Are you talking about the beta is a few days or the final release?
  14. Downloaded it this morning and tried it out. Works like a charm as did the betas. I'm just wondering but when are all the portable editions going to be up for download? In the near future I hope?
  15. Just wondering but is it almost ready to be out? It's been over a week. I was thinking maybe a few days would qualify for shortly. As far as my comment on the interface, I was hinting towards the actual CCleaner interface, not the title bar.
  16. Works good here. Fireryone, I love that idea. I wonder if it would get implemented.
  17. Looks pretty good. I was hoping to see more of a Vista like interface instead of a Windows XP one though. Anyhow, can't wait to get the beta!
  18. Good news as it always is. Looking forward to the beta of 2.0 and the final release of Recuva.
  19. I tried it out and it works perfect. Really fast and I tested some recovery of images with success. Keep up the awesome work.
  20. Soon I hope? Lol. Just anxious to get the new beta. That's all!
  21. You have got to be kidding me! Great news for sure! I will love to test CCleaner and hopefully I can find as many bugs as possible. Could we possibly get a few screenshots before the release is published? Awesome to hear that Recuva is about to be released. I really find it a useful program and a great one to help people with their computers. We'll see what Piriform has in store for use with this new product. So far, every product from Piriform has been very useful and very lightweight. I can't wait to hear what it is!
  22. Awesome! Nice backup with the whole laptop idea Mr. G. I'll definitely be checking these forums daily for any updates on this. I can't wait for the screenshots. Hopefully we can get at least 5. *Hopes*
  23. No more news for a while I guess then Anyhow, hopefully we get some word from Mr. G soon and maybe some screenshots!
  24. I think that CCleaner has a great layout and that it should stay the same. I would just request some Vista looking/newer glassier icons for CCleaner and some interface re-adjustment. I don't know what Piriform has set for CCleaner but I'm hopeful that we'll be getting some screenshots soon. Oh, just to put my opinion in, I hate the way Ad-Aware looks.
  25. I'm not sure how to fix this but Recuva does not cost a thing. If you paid for it, ask for your money back right away if you can. Look here for the latest Recuva news and downloads which are completely free of charge: http://www.recuva.com/
