Make sure you have that file installed in: C:\WINDOWS\system32
If you don't have it you can download it from any site you wish via this Google search, reboot after installing it.
If it still doesn't work you "may" need to register the file by clicking Start->Run and type in:
regsvr32 "%windir%\system32\iphlpapi.dll"
You "may" have to reboot after registering it.
I found iphlpapi.dll in C:\WINNT\ServicePackFiles\i386 and in C:\WINNT\system32
I ran your command and got the following message:
C:\WINNT\system32\iphlpapi.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
DllRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of C:\WINNT\system32\iphlpapi.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to detect and remove it.
Therefore, I used your Google Search to find and download iphlpapi.dll to my Desktop, then overwrote the existing file (68.2 KB) with the downloaded file (75.5 KB).
I then rebooted, downloaded the bandwidth program again, and tried to run it. I got the same error message as follows:
Run-time error '453'
Can't find DLL entry point AllocateAndGetTcpExTableFromStack in iphlpapi.dll
Seems like my machine won't accept this application <sigh>

I just downloaded it again from the website. No problem in downloading it.
However, when I run the application I get the error message I talked about earlier ...

CCleaner appears to delete the applet settings for this 10-year old timezone clock:

OK OK ... I goofed up and forgot to exclude the cookie with my settings. Got it all fixed up now.

It would appear that every time I use CCleaner, it messes up my installation of CLOX 2000 (http://www.mirage1.u-net.com/clox.htm).
How do I get CCleaner to not mess with the installation settings/personal settings on this program?

My girlfriend has a PC that was apparantly loaded with a pirated version of Windows XP Home Edition since it would not accept any of the newer security updates, etc. and could not be validated. I know where she got the OS from but, I wanted to make her legitimate without compromising or removing any of the other programs and data she had on the machine. Therefore, I purchased a licensed Windows XP Home Edition and loaded it onto her harddrive without reformatting it.
Everything now works just fine, and can be updated correctly.
I just have ONE problem ... and can't figure out how to fix it
When I boot her machine up, it goes through the usual DOS yada yada but then pauses at a notification screen before proceeding to load Windows. My problem is that the DOS notification screen has the option of proceeding with one of two operating systems, and has a 30-second delay before self-loading the first option ... or I can hit <Enter> to proceed. The first option is the new legitimate Windows XP Home Edition OS [that works] and the second option is the old pirated Windows XP Home Edition OS [that does not work].
How can I remove the second option from this start-up screen so that the computer just goes straight from the usual DOS yada yada to loading Windows?
Even better ... can I also hide the usual DOS yada yada from showing and scrolling on the screen?

I know that the latest version of CCleaner has addressed most Microsoft Office issues but, I've noticed that Microsoft PowerPoint 97 SR2 loses its user information after running CCleaner ... sometimes the username but ... always turns the "Default file location" back to C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents rather than the network location that I want to open/save to.
Any comments?
I have no such problems with Word, Excel, or Project.
Deleting Files with "Compressed Item Properties"

I have an annoying problem that I'd like to get resolved
I am trying to reinstall Rhapsody since my last installation somehow became corrupted. In trying to do this, I seem to be coming up with some conflicts with files from previous installations of Rhapsody. Technical support advised me to delete ANY file or folder that has "Rhapsody" in their names and I have succeeded in deleting about 45 of them. These were spread out between various subfolders on my "C" drive ... many of them were applications. However, I now have 14 files left that Windows' "Search" still finds (some of which are applications) but I am unable to delete them. They all seem to be leftover files associated with older ZIP files since they all have properties that describe them as having "Compressed Item Properties".
When I try to delete them, I get two messages. One is a ZIP-related message that says there is "Nothing to do". If I hit "OK", Windows then gives a message that it is "Deleting the file from the archive" but ... the notice just sits there and the file never gets deleted. I have checked the attributes of these files, and they do not seem to have any, e.g. Read-Only, Hidden, Archive.
How do I delete these files?

EDIT: Going back to the file paths for the undeletable files, I've noticed something. They all have the following format:
RhapsodyReal C:/Documents and Settings/Ptath/Desktop/Application Installations 2,149 KB Application 6/23/2006 8:15 AM
Yes ... all the slashes are "forward" slashes (/) as opposed to the normal "backward" slashes (\). Could this explain some of my problems? File sizes, dates, and file paths are all different for the 14 files but, they are recognized by Windows "search" as applications.
