  1. It hasn't worked for a long time and the issue is STILL unaddressed.
  2. "No files found" 1.01.062 STILL has this problem.
  3. I have posted this problem in 3 threads. Only in 1 was I asked to provide a log (which I did), but never any further response. About time to DTP.
  4. Your first problem is ?How do I get a drive letter assigned to the camera??. I would try asking here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/dimaging
  5. I would seriously think about just going out and buying a spare/backup memory card. They?re cheap enough; no point in letting the camera sit idle while you wait for help.
  6. I also have a Canon that attaches via USB. When I plug it in, Zoom Browser launches. This software does not assign a drive letter, so I think Recuva will never see the camera. AFAIK, you need software that will make the camera appear as a drive (assign it a drive letter). As of yet, I don?t know what that would be. Sorry I wasn?t any help, but at least you know you?re not alone.
  7. AFAIK ? Recuva does not backup anything. Its job is to restore files that have been deleted.
  8. I tried the latest release and I still have the same problem - a split second "scan" of the C: drive with "no files found". This is from my other posts: ?I have an internal HD with two partitions C & D and an external USB drive F. The prog finds deleted files on D & F, but always turns up nothing on C even after I delete files.?
  9. I tried the new release and had the same problem - a split second scan of the C: drive with "no files found".
  10. I tried the new release and had the same problem - a split second scan of the C: drive with "no files found".
  11. Any update? Is there more info I can provide? Thanks.
  12. I launched the app with the /debug option, scanned the C: drive and then exited. This is the Error_Log: Recuva v32 =========== System Info: MS Windows XP SP2, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.60GHz, 494MB RAM, Intel 82865G Graphics Controller DRIVEDESC FSys:1, BytsPSect:512, SectPClust:8, BytsPClust:4096, FRSize:1024, ClustCnt:12325863, MFTClustNo:0, MFTMirClustNo:8 [11:52:14] MFTRECHDR Data - Sign:FILE, SeqNum:9, Flags:9, FRSize:424, FRSizeAlloc:1024 [11:52:14] FileName: $Secure - Len(7), FileDiskSize:0, FileSize:0 [11:52:14] MFTRECHDR Data - Sign:FILE, SeqNum:10, Flags:1, FRSize:368, FRSizeAlloc:1024 [11:52:14] FileName: $UpCase - Len(7), FileDiskSize:128, FileSize:128 [11:52:14] MFTRECHDR Data - Sign:FILE, SeqNum:11, Flags:3, FRSize:776, FRSizeAlloc:1024 [11:52:14] FileName: $Extend - Len(7), FileDiskSize:0, FileSize:0
  13. I have a similar problem. I have an internal HD with two partitions C & D and an external USB drive F. The prog finds deleted files on D & F, but always turns up nothing on C even after I delete files.
