It hasn't worked for a long time and the issue is STILL unaddressed.

"No files found" 1.01.062 STILL has this problem.

I have posted this problem in 3 threads. Only in 1 was I asked to provide a log (which I did), but never any further response. About time to DTP.

Your first problem is ?How do I get a drive letter assigned to the camera??. I would try asking here: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/dimaging

I would seriously think about just going out and buying a spare/backup memory card. They?re cheap enough; no point in letting the camera sit idle while you wait for help.

I also have a Canon that attaches via USB. When I plug it in, Zoom Browser launches. This software does not assign a drive letter, so I think Recuva will never see the camera. AFAIK, you need software that will make the camera appear as a drive (assign it a drive letter). As of yet, I don?t know what that would be. Sorry I wasn?t any help, but at least you know you?re not alone.

AFAIK ? Recuva does not backup anything. Its job is to restore files that have been deleted.

I launched the app with the /debug option, scanned the C: drive and then exited.
