  1. Oh yes...thanks for the tip Glenn! I followed your advise to get a detailed log of Internet Explorer temporary files...it was then that I came to know it is because of the "Suggested Sites" feature of my IE. When I disabled "Suggested Sites" then run CCleaner again I now get zero(0mb) of cleaned items. Again, thanks!
  2. I have noticed this about maybe a month already(not too sure when it started but Im sure it was not like this before) wherein whenever I use CCleaner a temporary IE Files of 5mb size keeps returning. Where can I locate this temp IE files that keeps on coming back and how do I get rid of it permanently...without it coming back again. Here's a screenshot of my CCleaner>>>click here. Thanks!
  3. There are 2 accounts in our pc, my account(Admin) & my wife's(Limited) account. When I scan for issues on my account...no issues. Then I'll log-off my account and log-in to my wife's account and scan for issues...lots of issues. Then I'll log-off my wife's account and go back to my Admin account...re-scan for issues...still no issues. Then I'll change first my wife's account to Admin and next I'll change my Admin account to Limited. Then I'll log-off my account. Log-in again in my now Limited Account...re-scan for issues and there'll be lots already(as many issues as when I scan my wife's limited account prior). Why the appearrance of issues when an Admin account is changed to a Limited account? Now to continue...I'll then log-off my Limited account and log-in to my wife's now Admin account...re-scan for issues...and there'll be no more issues whereas when my wife's account was a Limited account before--there are a lot of issues. Why the disappearrance of issues when a Limited account is changed to an Admin account? Please note that I'm not yet talking about fixing issues...but I'm also experiencing those observations wherein CCleaner seemingly goes thru the motion of fixing all issues found but when re-scanning is done...the same issues that are "fixed" will be detected again as issues. But this is not my main concern at the moment. By the way, I also have Spybot S&D and using it's System Internals feature to check for Registry Inconsistencies...I get the same result/observation as when using CClener re: appearrance of issues when an Admin account is changed to a Limited account AND disappearrance of issues when a Limited account is changed to an Admin account.
  4. I have a slightly different problem but related to post of loyaldragon so im posting it here. When I run CCleaner in my wife's (Limited User) Account it gives more than a hundred issues/problems. When I try to fix it it goes thru the motion of deleting all the issues but when I re-scan it again...the same issues/problems will be detected again(same as with loyaldragon experience). But here's the twist: I logged on to my Administrator account and change my wife's account into Administrator account then log off my account and log-in to my wife's account(now an Admin account)...re-scan with CCleaner for issues but to my amazement there's no more issues detected. I repeated the scanning again & again changing my wife's account to Limited and then to Admin account and I get the same observation. Why is it so? Lot of issues detected while on Limited account but zero issues when run as administrator. Majority of the issues detected on the limited user account were Uninstaller Reference Issue(100+)...something like C:WINDOWS\$NtUninstallKB873339$\spuninst\spuninst.exe cannot be located(the others just changes the 6-digit #) then Installer Reference Issue(2)...C:WINDOWS\Documents & Settings\Username\Application Data\SPAMfighter(the other one is about SPAMfighter\Logs then ActiveX/COM Issue(only one)...something like InProcServer32\C:WINDOWS\system32\Setup\fxsocm.dll. There are also about 4 or 5 Uninstaller Reference Issue about ie7updates.
