  1. Andavari, I followed your suggested course of action and this has resolved the problem. There was a winapp.ini file that remained in the C:\Program Files\CCleaner folder, which I believe must have been the cause of the issue. Although I deleted the registry settings, I have since reimported them (to reinstate my protected cookies) and all appears well. Many thanks for your help. JayDub
  2. Come on guys, give us a break here. 207 views and nobody has bothered to comment whether or not they have also seen this issue. So all you other users, when you look at the applications tab in the scan part of the program do you see your applications listed twice. Obviously if everybody does then it's going to be a bug. If it's just me, it suggests it's PC specific and I would appreciate guidanve from any of the 'techies' about what may be causing the multiple listing of applications. Thanks for your help.
  3. Having installed v2.01.507, nearly all the applications listed on the Cleaner - Applications tab are listed twice. The only exceptions are Adobe Reader under the Applications list and Adobe Flash Player and Macromedia Flash Player under the Multimedia list. I have uninstalled and reinstalled CCleaner with no effect. Is this a known bug that is waiting to be fixed? Has anybody else seen this issue?

  5. Doh!! Thanks for pointing out the blindingly obvious. It's always much easier when you know the answer.
  6. I had already cleared out Opera from the program files and removed obvious Opera registry entries. However tried your script and guess what? It's still there!! Any other ideas?
  7. I've just uninstalled Opera, but Opera still appears in the CCleaner application list. I would like to remove it, but can't work out how! Can somebody point me in the right direction. TIA.
