  1. Your definition of browser fingerprinting is clearly wrong. Also I note that your definition is clearly derived from a CCleaner webpage. Instead, try the following: What Is Browser Fingerprinting? How It Works And How To Stop It , which says: Browser fingerprinting is a powerful method that websites use to collect information about your browser type and version, as well as your operating system, active plugins, time zone, language, screen resolution, and various other active settings. And that's exactly what you see on screen when you click on the link: What's My Browser The CCleaner Browser had made no attempt to block this website from accessing this information.
  2. Apparently you need to have Privacy Guard set to "Strict Blocking" for fingerprints to be actively blocked. However if you test this by looking at your platform details on sites like: What's My Bowser? or What browser am I using? all of your details are fully visible on these sites. See screenshot:
