I am working on a friend's computer and don't have access to her MS account. I would really like to know why there is a discrepancy between the two reported number. Where does Speccy get its number from?

In SPECCY under OPERATING SYSTEM a value is displayed as SERIAL NUMBER. That value does not match the value displayed when I issue the command : wmie path SoftwareLicencingServices get OA3xOriginalProductKey in the command window. Shouldn't they match? Which of those two numbers should I use when I try to do a clean W11 install on a new disk drive? Thanks, Walt
