JDPower
Ok, thanks for the corrections. I'm still pretty new at making entries so feel free to correct and comment. It's best to use the programs main executable file as detect file where possible.

SMalik
I have modified the Roxio entry that nodles provided. I think this will work better. I modified the highlighted lines. SMalik
Nice catch, Saad Thank you I was the one who provided that entry and I was sure that it didn't cause the problem. I always test the entries before I post here.
SMalik
I have Windows DVD Maker and Windows Media Center features off but, CCleaner still detect these entries. To fix this I have corrected the Detect paths of these entries. SMalik
I think some of the old Ashampoo Burning Studio entries should be removed. e.g. [Ashampoo Burning Studio 5*] [Ashampoo Burning Studio 6*] [Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 Free (Logs)*] There are two entries for [Ashampoo Burning Studio 7*]

Moderators Andavari Posted October 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2011 [Auslogics Disk Defrag*] LangSecRef=3024 Detect=HKCU\Software\Auslogics\Disk Defrag Default=False FileKey1=%AppData%\Auslogics\Disk Defrag\Reports|*.* FileKey2=%AppData%\Auslogics\Disk Defrag\Logs|*.* is currently in winapp2.ini. Would the addition of a second detect line cover the portable version? in so far as Detect2=....\disk defrag portable? Originally I had written it as a Detect2! The problem is other software that can also use winapp2.ini such as BleachBit wouldn't be able to clean it, so long story short - I was trying to be compatible thinking of other software that can also use winapp2.ini. Moderators Andavari Posted October 31, 2011 Moderators Share Posted October 31, 2011 lol not very portable :-P Not it's not, it also creates registry keys. But it does allow to avoid the Ask.com Toolbar which is in the install version.
Winapp2.ini
Fair enough, I didn't know that BleachBit couldn't use Detect2 lines. JDPower
I think some of the old Ashampoo Burning Studio entries should be removed. e.g. [Ashampoo Burning Studio 5*] [Ashampoo Burning Studio 6*] [Ashampoo Burning Studio 6 Free (Logs)*] Why? Winapp2.ini
I'll probably start combining like entries for different versions of programs ( eg. You should remove lines in red: That puzzles me. What is the point of DetectFile2=%HomeDrive%\Riot Games\League of Legends\rads\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\releases\0.0.0.86\deploy Is it not sufficient that you have already detected DetectFile1=%HomeDrive%\Riot Games\League of Legends\rads I would assume that the first Detectfile1 is more than sufficient when all the subsequent detects are all dependant upon the presence of the first one. nodles
Well if the first DetectFile is enough, you can remove the rest.
JDPower
Well if the first DetectFile is enough, you can remove the rest. As I already mentioned, you generally only need one detect file/key. This is just to detect the program is installed, you don't need a detect file for every item in the entry
