That's in the registry cleaner, and it will probably endlessly reappear . What I've did since the new versions registry cleaner is more aggressive is exclude a bunch of the file associations (79 total) which it states aren't needed, however I know better.

 

You can exclude right inside the registry cleaner by right clicking and selecting: Add to Exclude list

The Following site lists known Programs which use extention .ink

 

http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/ink

 

Do you now or have you ever had any of those installed.

 

If yes, and you no longer have the program it is safe to remove, else add it to the exclude list (right click and choose add to exclude)

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Doh Opps Lnk files are shortcuts add it to your exclude
