  2. @cosmo As your question is different from the thread that you posted on (which wasn't about the browser anyway and was in the wrong section) I've split it out to it's own thread with a new title.
  3. Good to hear that you eventually got the combination working. I'd also noticed that CCleaner v5.71 take a bit longer to load than previously, but it's not too bad here.

    Gmail recovery

If as you say they were on the gmail site/servers and not saved to your computer then no software can recover them. Software like Recuva can only find what has been deleted from YOUR harddrives, they can't touch other companies servers. Unless they are still in the gmail trash bin (or downloaded/saved to your computer) then they are gone. If they are that important then you may have one last chance that google can recover them, they can/will sometimes recover maliciously deleted emails (It's not realy meant for if you have deleted them yourself); see the steps to take given in t

  6. I'm using the Windows version of the browser. My issues have to do with voice recognition. I'm referring to the extensions that you can add seem to add just fine but they don't actually work. When I tried to Google voice search it goes to that but as soon as I click the microphone it tells me I'm no longer connected to the Internet. I'm also not able to use the other boys typing extensionOn the browser. Oddly enough, as I was dictating this, the programs I mentioned would automatically start up. I have similar problems using the same extensions on Opera. Any help would

  9. Ok, solved everything, the latest version of CrapCleaner, v.5.71.7971x64, with the latest version of Comodo Internet Security Premium, works (but the graphical interface loads slowly, before it appears on screen) without problems, however only this latest version of CCleaner, previous versions have always the same problem, that I described in my previous posts, with the latest version of Comodo, and the previous one. In any case thanks for your help.

    Gmail recovery

Hi Nukecad, I mistakenly permanatley deleted some of the current emails on the gmail site and could not recover them from there, so I would like to recover them if possible.

  12. It's just cosmetic! Sometimes if closing CCleaner and then re-opening it doesn't happen the second time. It's intermittent but repeatable. We need them to open a bank, so they double our deposited amount.

    Gmail recovery

If it was downloaded and stored on your computer then possibly. If it was only stored on the gmail server(s) then those are protected and Recuva (or anything else legitimate) can't touch them. You may be able to recover them from within gmail itself. Are you trying to recover some, or worried about someone else recovering them?

Hi, Can RECVA find deleted gmail. Thanks Nac
  15. Don't beat yourself up about it, it's deliberately done like that in the hope that people will miss the slightly different name. It's a tactic used by many less reputable companies (and outright scammers). And obviously it's worth their time and effort, so they probably fool enough people to make money. If I recall correctly the screens in that one are also designed to mimic the genuine CCleaner. I've not seen that particular one for a while and thought that Piriform/Avast had managed to get it taken down, but if it was making the scammers money then they'll just try again.

  18. Look in the attachments. On my main desktop pc it's fine, no bug. but on my small 2 in 1 10" tablet with resolution 1920 x 1080 i have all duplicate entries under advanced cleanup tabs.
  19. Nukecad, Wow!, Nuke, I don't consider myself a digital geek, but can say that I know my way around a computer. Nevertheless, I did not notice the CC Cleaner in the app I was trying to install, even after I have been working on it for days. Go figure! And you are right, the CCleaner in my other tablet is indeed from 2015, and I missed that too. I appreciate your response very much. Thank you

  21. The first thing to note is that the genuine CCleaner for Android v1.11.42 was from 2015 and so is well out of date. I doubt that it will work on Android 10. Your Samsung probably has an older Android. You need to get the latest CCleaner for Android version from the Google Play Store. https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner-android And yes, the genuine CCleaner does need all those permissions to be able to clean Android properly. More importantly though - What you then downloaded is a known fake. We've seen it before. The name of the official product is CCleaner. Only two 'Cs'
  22. Why doesn't Ccleaner work in my new tablet. How can I fix that? I just got a new tablet. I downloaded CCleaner Version v1.11.42, from Amazon Appstore to it, but I cant get it to work. When I click "Analyze", I get a message that says "Ccleaner keeps Stopping", and 2 options to click: App Info, and Close app. (Photo of this attached). The same thing happens when I click App Manager, and Custom Analyses, and Customs Files and Folders in Settings. Only thing that comes OK is System Info. I have the same version Cleaner in an older Samsung tablet, and it works fine. I tried to download

  27. Hello! While it appears Server 2003 is supported - https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/faq/installing/what-operating-systems-does-ccleaner-support - It does not run. 'Not a valid Win32 application' is displayed with the latest release. I tried the last XP supported release also (which does work fine on XP), message similar to 'not a supported operating system' displays. Just a note to admins to either update support page or perhaps fix last XP release (should technically be supported on Server 2003). Thanks!
